Chicago Stars FC is returning to Soldier Field on June 14th.
The team announced they’ll kick off the Second City Celebration doubleheader match at 4PM, with the Chicago Fire following at 7:30.
"We're excited to be able to offer fans, old and new, a unique and exciting entertainment experience at Soldier Field on Chicago’s spectacular lakefront,” Stars FC President Karen Leetzow said in the team’s press release. “We look forward to celebrating the beautiful game together and collaborating further with the Fire in the years to come to help make Chicago one of the best soccer cities in the country and the world.”
Last season, the Stars kicked off at Wrigley Field to a record-setting crowd. They’ll look to build on their success with the increased capacity at Soldier Field.
This match will be the sixth doubleheader for the Stars and the Fire, and the first since 2022.
